Travelodge Launches Corporate Department In Response To Growing Demand For Budget Accommodation

Travelodge, Ireland’s leading budget hotel chain, today announced the launch of a new corporate department in response to growing demand by businesses for good value low cost accommodation.

Speaking in Dublin today, Seamus McGowan, Director of Travelodge in Ireland said:
“Tough economic times mean that companies the world over are becoming more budget conscious and are no longer willing to pay exorbitantly high prices for unnecessary frills. Over the course of the last 6 months Travelodge has seen a surge in corporate bookings which now account for 25% of our business. We anticipate that these numbers will grow to 45% by June of this year and it is to accommodate this demand that we have decided to launch this department.”
