Travelodge Telecommunications

Budget hotel group Travelodge Ireland has appointed telecommunications provider Teleir to provide telephone services across Travelodge hotels in Ireland. Teleir will replace Eircom with immediate effect across Travelodge’s 11 hotels throughout the country, including the new Travelodge Castletroy, which will open its doors on June 1 this year. Under the terms of the deal, Teleir will reduce the costs of Travelodge’s communication systems.

Seamus McGowan, managing director of Travelodge Ireland, said: ‘‘With Teleir we will be able to make significant savings on our telephone bills.”

Travelodge is an international budget hotel operator, and operates more than 330 hotels in Britain.
